This is a short film that my friend Dolly and I created around the subject of independent retail and their business in the quasi- recessionary years since 2008. I had never done anything like this before but I had a few weeks off before my new assignment at Ogilvy and she was looking to get better at the mechanics of such films. So we teamed up and shot this - maybe not to BBC production standards but we are pleased with it.

 I learnt lots about the editing process and the way a narrative works within such a film so it was a million miles from agency client services. Though from a general customer service perspective, it's interesting how they differentiate their respective brands and compete against the big guys like Amazon and Wiggle.
